Today we relaxed and enjoyed the July 4th pool party at our swim club. They had drawings, trivia and contests. The Taylor family raked in the goodies too. We won the first drawing and got a guest pass for this. Kathleen and I won the 15 and older water balloon toss. We got another guest pass and some golf balls. Juice pouches were tossed in the pool for the kids to dive after and Payton came up the specially marked pouched. He won a toy. Parker started jumping into the baby pool. Granted, it is only 1 ft. deep, but he just jumps in now. It was a good day.
Payton - why we don't know - has had a lusting for a pinata. He wore Kathleen down and she got him one. He had to wait until after dinner. He did and then took to busting it up.
Just before darkness we went to the front yard to sit a spell. We were able to enjoy the neighbor's fireworks. This little show was about all Parker could handle. It was a good thing we didn't go out to see a big show.BTW, I am still working on the post for our last cruise. I didn't get to work on it this weekend as much as I wanted. Maybe I will have it up before the end of the week.
