Pictures of days past

We haven't taken a lot of pictures lately, but we have taken some. I sure haven't been posting what we have. Here are a few of them.

Parker was sleepy one day. He grabbed his blankets and headed upstairs, but he didn't get very far.
This is Easter morning. The boys are dressed for church. After church they had an Easter Egg Hunt in the basement. Later in the day Jack and Jill and theirs kids (the cousins) came over for Easter dinner.Grandma and Grandpa were up from the island to share Easter with us.

Payton has been playing T-Ball. He likes playing and has improved much since his first practice. Parker sure would like to play. He doesn't like sitting on the side lines. We have to entertain him. He will follow along in his brother's footsteps in just a couple of years.

Aaarrrgghhh

Today was Parker's gym class. Using my cell phone I shot a video of him doing the circuit, but unfortunately the file got corrupted. The instructor had a pretty good circuit setup too. I'm bummed I can't share it.

On the other hand we had a good lunch at a downtown eatery - Basically Burgers. Parker had a hot dog. I had a Black & Blue. Blue cheese cooked between two black peppered patties. It was good.

The Monster Mile

Friday we left for an overnighter in Newark. Payton and I met up with Uncle Jack and cousins Erin and Ryan and went south to Dover, DE to see the NASCAR Truck Race at the Monster Mile. This was Payton's first stock car race. His interest in the race came and went, but he enjoyed being with his cousins.

Kathleen and Parker stayed back at the hotel and spent time together. They swam and walked around downtown. It's a college town, Friday night, things were hoppin'.

The next day we stayed around to see Ryan's baseball game before heading home later afternoon.

Is this the future?

I was mowing in the yard this morning. Parker was playing on the playset set and in the sandbox. I stopped to check on him and found him as you see him. If he was of drinkin' age I would have thought he was passed out, but just as I figured he was asleep. Normally I let the boys sleep where they fall - don't wake a sleeping baby. But this was not a good place to sleep. I picked him up, brushed him off and took him inside to continue his nap.

Ahh, the digital age. Did I immediately pick Parker up? No. I picked my phone from my pocket to record it for posterity, but first I did check to see if he was okay.
